The Amorati Standard
Most fine jewelers charge extra for a premium stone and high-quality metals. We don't, because here, they're not extras.
You don’t have to know every variable.
The 4Cs define a range. Most brands choose somewhere in the middle. Here’s exactly where Amorati draws the line, and why it matters.
GIA Clarity Scale
VS1 Minimum - FL/IF
VS1 clarity means inclusions are invisible to the naked eye. Even under close scrutiny. Our minimum is where many retailers "curated" or "select" category ends. We start here.
GIA Color Scale
D to F Colorless Tier Only
D to F is the "colorless" tier, which are the brightest and whitest diamonds under the GIA standards. Most competitors allow G–H. We don't ever go below F.
Why Color Matters
Color is the grade you wear everyday
Clarity is about what's inside the stone. Color is what you see. D–F diamonds looks brilliantly white in every light, morning, fluorescent, candlelight, camera flash.
A K-grade stone carries a warm yellow tint that becomes progressively more visible in direct light.
Every Amorati center stone is graded D–F. We've never shipped a piece outside that range, and we don't plan to.
A Note On Pave Accent Stones
Our pave melee, the accent diamonds in halo and pave settings are graded F color. At 0.5mm to 1.5mm, the visual difference between F and D is imperceptible to the naked eye. The cost difference is not. We pass that saving to you, not to a grading certificate you'll never look at.
